Dress Swimsuit Cover by Flora Florida

I absolutely love this dress swimsuit cover up by Flora Florida! I have been looking for a cute, flattering cover up and this dress is perfect! I love the trendy, boho design and shorter length.

The soft grey is a nice neutral color and goes with pretty much everything! This dress is quality made, well designed, and the perfect thickness. It is a little see-through if you are wearing a bright or dark colored swimsuit underneath, but most beach cover ups are. The elastic waistband is comfortable and makes it easy to slip the dress on. I love the draping and the detailed fringe on the skirt part. I am wearing a small and I measure 5’5″ and around 102 pounds and I think the size fits me well.

I don’t think there is anything about this dress that I don’t like…I just wish it came in more colors! It’s a reasonable price and super cute! The perfect beach dress to wear over my swimsuit on my next trip to Hawaii!

Disney Cars Plastic Surprise Eggs & Bonus

I love celebrating Easter! One of my favorite activities to plan is an Easter Egg Hunt! My son was old enough this year to understand and participate so I had so much fun hiding the eggs. One of my big concerns with hiding the plastic eggs with candy outside is that the ants would come running. The ants here in Texas are intense and fast! These Disney Cars Plastic Surprise Eggs were the perfect solution! The candy is sealed in tightly-sealed plastic wrap so the bugs won’t even know there is candy inside! That is probably one of my favorite features of these eggs! Another perk is that they are filled so you won’t have to worry about buying little toys and wondering if they fit inside.

Each egg is plastic wrapped with a Disney Cars design (my son’s favorite). Once you remove the plastic wrap, the egg is a solid red, which is perfect for reusing the next year! Inside each egg is candy, a sticker, and a surprise! The surprises were so fun for my son! He got excited to see what which egg would contain! An egg could contain a cars bouncy ball (as shown above), a cars yoyo, or even a cars disc launcher! There is a pamphlet on each egg that shows all the items you can collect.

And if the eggs weren’t awesome enough, this set comes with a bonus sticker activity kit. My son loved this! The stickers are reusable (so awesome!) and come with a racetrack background to stick them on. So many fun things in this whole set for a reasonable price! An easy & fun way to surprise your little one! I will defiantly be purchasing more of these next year! Great for Easter egg hunts or even birthday party favors!

Way Better Snacks Chips

I received a sample bag of Way Better Snacks Sweet Chili Corn Tortilla Chips in my Cheers to You VoxBox from Influenster to try out for free and review. I rarely consume chips or keep chips in my house, because they are unhealthy, but these Way Better Snacks chips are one of the few healthy alternative brands of chips I would make an exception for! I love the “Sweet Chili” flavor in general and these chips hit the flavor spot on! They are delicious by themselves and perfectly compliment a variety of dishes! I have had them with taco stuffed peppers (shown above) and with seasoned chicken. I have yet to try the other varieties and flavors Way Better Snacks has to offer, but fully intend to!

Not only are the chips Non Gmo and gluten free, but they are made with simple ingredients! Some ingredients included in these Sweet Chili Corn Tortilla Chips include Sprouted Quinoa, Sprouted Chia, and Sprouted Broccoli. There are a few simple ingredients that make up this short ingredient list and I can pronounce every ingredient! This goes to show how much better these chips are for you than other chips and some of the ingredients you wouldn’t even think could be in a chip! These are my go-to chips when I get a craving and I can’t wait to try out some other varieties! #SnackWayBetter

SlimFast VoxBox

I received this Slimfast VoxBox full of Slimfast goodies from Influenster to try out for free and review. This Slimfast VoxBox is part of the #ItsYourThing campaign, which encourages consumers to eat healthier and shed unwanted pounds, no matter how busy you are. This campaign is great timing for all those New Year’s resolutions of eating healthy and getting to the gym! So may great products to help you lose weight and keep it off while eating products that you look forward to! I am impressed with the variety of products Slimfast has and how delicious they are! I’m not sure I could pick one product that I liked the most, because I loved them all!

These 100 Calorie Snack Crisps are both soo good! The Drizzled Crips are more of a little dessert to me, to help me satisfy my sweet tooth. With 3g of protein and 5g of fiber these Cinnamon Bun Swirl Drizzled Crips taste are as appetizing as they look! Think cinnamon toast crunch in a light crisp piece with “frosting” drizzled on top. Seriously this snack is so good each bite will put a smile on your face! I love how many pieces there are in the bag! Slimfast doesn’t fill half the bag with air like some companies do! No, they fill the bag up with crisps, so by your last piece you are full!

The Sour Cream & Onion Baked variety of the 100 Calorie Snack Crisps are perfect for lunch or dinner as a side to your meat, or even just as a snack between meals to fill you up. Sour Cream & Onion is one of my favorite flavors of chips (although I don’t remember the last time I actually had chips) and Slimfast nailed the flavor! The texture is a mix between a cracker and a chip and isn’t greasy, but super tasty! There are a ton of crisps in this bag as well and I was able to have this bag as a side to my lunch of two days, splitting it between the two. These chip crips have 2g protein & 5g fiber! WOW! Super stoked I can enjoy these”chips” from time to time and not feel guilty about it!

 

Slimfast meal replacement shakes and bars are perfect for on the go during a busy day or great to pack in your gym bag for a post workout snack to help your body remover. I received a Slimfast shake in a Cream Chocolate flavor and am super impressed with the flavor! It tastes like chocolate milk or a chocolate milkshake! Sometimes companies that make protein or meal replacement shakes sacrifice the flavor, but Slimfast doesn’t! This shake has 20g of protein and only 1g of sugar and kept me full until my next meal! It isn’t a chalky or thick shake, but has a perfect smooth texture.

How does eating Dark Chocolate Sea Salt on your healthy diet sound?! Too good to be true? Slimfast makes it possible to indulge your tastebuds without the calories and bad nutrition to feel guilty about. This bar has a whopping 10 g of protein, 5g of fiber, and 18 vitamins and minerals. If you think that is awesome, this bar is even gluten free! It has a delicious sweet chocolate taste and pairs great with the rest of the bar for a sweet and salty flavor. This bar was perfect for me to take with me for an afternoon pick me up while I was out and about and also helped me satisfy me sweet cravings.

There wasn’t one Slimfast product I didn’t like in this VoxBox and I am super excited to be able to indulge my tastebuds in a healthy way!

Custom Made Shift Dress by Suuchi

I received this beautiful piece of clothing from Suuchi. Each piece of clothing is custom made for you according to your measurements or by using a standard size of your choice. Each piece of clothing is handmade in the USA using quality fabric and materials and is shipped to your doorstep faster than most online clothing retailers (within5 days). They have many styles to choose from in categories from dresses, blouses. skirts, outerwear, pants, and accessories. After choosing your style of clothing and size you are able to pick your fabric from the listed ones on the website. There are so many beautiful colors and patterns! A 3D animation of the piece helps you visualize what your finished product will look like and assists you in making the right choice in color.  I also just noticed that the prints and colors change on the model in the picture as you click the different choice. An AWESOME feature that may have just been added. Accessories range from $20-40, while clothing is a little more expensive ranging from $40-115.

The style I am wearing is the Shift Dress with Pocket and V Neck priced at $70 on Suuchi. The loose fit and unique sleeves and collar line is a beautiful combination and effortlessly fashionable! I also love the side pockets on this dress, very unique! Pair this dress with a pair of heels or booties and you hardly need any accessories, because the dress is so beautiful on it’s own. It makes me feel like a runway model when I wear it! I was impressed by the quality of this dress. It was so beautifully made and the fabric is quality fabric, but not too heavy. I ordered a US 2 and put my height in as 5’5 for this shift dress. I do LOVE this dress that I received for free to review because it is trendy and comfortable and would love more colors of this style added to my closet!

Valentia Clay Mask & Exfoliating Scrub

Recently, I read an article in a magazine pertaining to your skin and using facial scrubs and masks. To sum the article up, your skin sheds millions of skin cells, daily. These shedding skin cells can build up on your face resulting in clogged pulls, black heads, wrinkles, lackluster looking skin. Exfoliating or removing these skin cells will help your face look it’s best. After reading this information I am going to try and be more proactive about taking care of my skin starting this new year. You could call it a resolution of sorts. I was super excited to be send this External Youth Exfoliating Scrub and this Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask by Valentia. I have used some of their products in the past and loved them, so I was super excited to get a few new products for free to try out and review.

I have used body scrubs before, but have never used an exfoliating scrub on my face. This External Youth Exfoliating Scrub has a strong tropical smell probably due to the green and white teas and tropical butters. The texture feels gel like with the exfoliates mixed in. When I used this scrub for the first time, it was a scratchy feeling on my face (keep in mind this is my first time using a scrub on my face). It wasn’t unpleasant, but a unfamiliar feeling. The scrub is easy to massage into my skin. After rinsing the excess off with warm water, my skin looked so much cleaner and more even! And that was after one use! My skin just felt so clean and refreshed. I am very impressed with this exfoliating scrub (especially since it was my first facial scrub). It doesn’t cause my skin to dry out, but helps the look of my skin immensely. I will defiantly continue to use this on a regular basis! This scrub is currently $24.99 on Amazon and I would highly recommend you purchase it, if you want brighter, more beautiful, and more even skin!

Let me start by saying this Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay mask smells amazing! A fruity dessert scent instantly makes you smile and tempts you to eat it (LOL). Applying this mask is easy to do with your fingertips and I only used a small amount the first time, which ensures this jar will last quite awhile. I kept this mask on for 15 minutes and then rinsed it off with a warm cloth. After rinsing it off, my face felt rejuvenated. I have sensitive skin and was impressed and relieved my skin didn’t react to this mask. Some other facial masks I have used in the past have made my face have a boring sensation. Ick! You can purchase this clay mask on Amazon for $24.99. Paired with the External Youth Exfoliating Scrub these two products are truly a dynamic duo! I am continuing to use these regularly and am loving how much more radiant my face looks! Thank you Valentia for continuing to make awesome skin care products!

Top Notch “30 in 30” Protein Shakes

Over the holidays I took about a week off from working out and didn’t worry about what I ate like I usually tend to. It was defiantly nice to be able to relax and let my body rest, as well as enjoy my family time over the break, but I am so ready to get back to eating healthy and working out on a regular basis.

With that being said I am going to  incorporate protein shakes back into my diet as an after workout recovery snack. I love how easy protein shakes are to make, because after a tough workout the last thing I want to do is prepare a meal. The added protein from the shake also helps me get more protein during the day easily without having to worry about eating protein rich foods such as meats.

I was sent a Top Notch “30 in 30” Protein Shakes Combo Pack bag to try out and review for free. There are 20 single serve packets in this combo pack (10 Chocolate Cake & 10 Vanilla Ice Cream) and sells for $32.97, which is about $1.60 for each single serve packet. I find these single serve packs so convenient! They are great to have in your gym bag for a post workout snack without having to worry about a mess. The 30 in 30 refers to the 30 grams of pure whey protein isolate being most effective when you consume it within 30 minutes of waking up or working out. I like that these protein packets not only have the 30 grams of pure whey protein isolate, but only have 4 other ingredients (including only 1 g of sugar). I am very impressed with how easily this protein powder dissolves into water and that it is gluten free. Some protein powders I have tried in the past leave clumps when trying to mix them with water or milk.

Unfortunately though, the taste was a bit of a disappointment. I tried both the Chocolate Cake flavor and the Vanilla Ice Cream and they were both too sweet! I did water it down quite a bit and the taste wasn’t as bad. I wouldn’t mind drinking this protein after my workouts, because of the protein content amount and simple ingredients, but it isn’t my favorite tasting protein powder. I would give this protein 3 stars out of 5, because the taste is too sweet, but because (on a positive note) the powder has 30 grams of protein, is packed in single servings, and easily dissolves.

This pair of Cor Surf bamboo sunglasses is probably the coolest pair of sunglasses I’ve ever seen! A great last minute gift idea for the holidays. Who doesn’t need sunglasses? ..And the bamboo frames with a bonus case makes this a unique and quality gift for your best friend, brother, husband, or teenager!

I love the classic wayfarer style because for one, I don’t think this shape will over go out of style and secondly, because it’s the only design that won’t slide down my nose. I don’t wear sunglasses often because they start to hurt my nose and ears from the weight, but these sunglasses are lightweight and comfortable to wear. I am so happy I was able to review these for free in exchange for my review, because I now have eye protection that is comfortable and stylish.

I am very impressed with the craftsmanship of the frames which are handcrafted and made from eco friendly sustainable wood. With polarized frames and such beautifully made frames, it’s awesome that Cor Surf includes a cloth and a bamboo case to keep your shades protected when not in use. Can it get any better?

Finding the perfect gift for dad can be a difficult task! I, for one have such a hard time coming up with gifts for my husband. RoosterFin/Tryazon Game Night

RoosterFin?! More like Rooster FUN! A big THANK YOU to RooserFin and Tryazon for letting my friends and I try out these awesome games in exchange for our reviews! Our RoosterFin night was filled with fun and laughs and great memories! I, myself prefer a night in over going out to a club or bar, so this party was a great opportunity for me to invite my friends over for drinks, snacks, and games!

The first RoosterFin game of the night was Rooster Race – The High Low Game of Fowl Fun. This seemed like a good game to start out the party with since it had Rooster in the title!. The boxed game includes 75 rooster cards, 15 ears of corn pieces, and instructions. One card is placed face-side up on the floor (or table) and the players are given 14 playing cards. The number of cards that are delt can depend on the number of players your have. Players are to guess if their card is higher or lower than the card on the floor (or table) and if they guess right they get an ear of corn. On the flip side, if you guess wrong, you have to give back an ear of corn. The player that collects the most corn pieces wins! This game was super fun and got competitive fast! A fun and easy, competitive game for families and friends of all ages, 5 and up.

Lumpy Cubes was voted the best game of the night and the vote was unanimous! Since I had 5 people at my party and this game is for 4 people, we took turns. Lumpy Cubes consists of 16 stacking cubes in 4 colors with faces on two sides of each cube. Blue, green, orange, and yellow are the players colors. Flip a card over and stack the faced cubes according to the order on the card. The first player to shout out “Lumpy” with a correctly stacked tower keeps the card. We, however, played a little different…the winner of the round got to pick someone to take a sip or shot of their drink. This made the game super competitive and we played again and again! Although we played our own “adult” version of this game, Lumpy Cubes is great for so many ages! It’s easy for kids to play and have fun with too! The plastic blocks are quality made so they will be sure to last for years and years of playing!

The last game of the night was super appropriate for our “adult” versioned game night! Mohawkz reminded us of a certain drinking game, with a new take! We sort of made teams for this game, as it only has 3 sets of Mohawkz balls (2 colored for each team or person). Simply bounce the ball and try to land it in the hole. This was a pretty fun game, but didn’t have as much substance as the other games, so it was a good end the game night game. I also have to add I do wish the cut out hole stand was made of something sturdier than cardboard. I feel that if younger kids were to play this game that it might not hold up.

All in all, RoosterFin night was a success! We had so much fun playing all three games and I recommend looking into these games yourself for your own game night or for a holiday present! RoosterFin games are reasonably priced and are sure to cause laughs, fun, and some friendly competition! I love that each game doesn’t have a million pieces, making it easy to take anywhere and they are appropriate for all ages! (5 and up).
